   Mine have always survived the winter, but were considerably bigger. Now they are gone. My new ones are small too. How about a wooden box with some slats removed and plastic stapled to form a mini-greenhouse, just big enough for each maceta?

   I’ve got a table saw and plenty of scrap wood and can put something together for you. I’m not sure I have plastic on hand, but might even have that as well.
