Street art seen in Panama City, Panama.
After my article about Street Art in Uruguay a good friend from Panama promised me to send a few pics of street art in Panama, what he did this week. I like to share some of these pictures with you.

Wonderful street art in Panama City. Left by artist Camila Bernal and right by artist Annie Pereda.
The left art is made by Nel 1, the right was painted during the „Bienale del Sur“.
For these two paintings he couldn’t find out the artists.
After these few pictures above, I like to add some out of my collection, because I think they are some typical and special to Panama and they are also a kind of street art, worth to see. Everywhere to find, the folk art of agriculture and the skillfully sprayed public buses of Panama. Similar bus or taxi decoration I’ve seen on the Philippines, other end of the globe.
Left the maize cultivation around Aquadulce. And right an abandoned golf club in Porto Armuelles, the banana country (famous for the „chiquita“ brand) near the Costa Rican border.
The „old ones“ – the famous „El Diablos“ – the Devils – because they drive like hell, like Devils !
And the „new ones“, also painted very colorful and worth to notice.
The new Panama Metro, with an unusual „El Diablo“ decoration. Pic by Foshy’s. This train is the 001 line, in case you want to drive with it, Albrook to Tocumen.

Finally a picture of the Biomuseo in Panama City. To me „One Piece of Street Art“.
Worth to describe it in a separate article, which I will post in the next few weeks.
So – stay tuned and expect much more to come. May be some of the readers have also interesting kinds of street art in your home country and like to share with us !!??

Hi M.,
thanks for publishing my photos. Looking great.
You are totally right to add the devils. They are a special
Panamanian art. May be you remember the big bus stop
near La Chorrera, where hundreds of those colorful devils
are parked. Last month they had an auction there and sold
over 50 of those to private. People told the press, that they
are storing them in their backyard or frontyard as guesthouse
or just as peace of art. Ha – Panama becomes more colorful.
Please go on with your great articles, I enjoy reading them.
Keep in touch, L.
