Our wonderful Silver River (Rio de la Plata) during an early beach walk yesterday.
An empty beach to dream off, miles and miles just for your self, except your own track.
Beautiful beach as far as the eye can see. Far right the mountains of Piriapolis.

What’s laying around here ? Some „brandy corpses“, sleeping off the Saturday night !
Summer and beach life is arriving in Uruguay. Click on pics to supersize.

This morning (Monday) they were gone, just a „souvenir“ left on the beach.
By the way. The sign „Zona de Deportes“ means „sport zone“ not „deportation zone“.
Or could it be ??? Our intendencia is very quick with deporting beach corpses.
I was sooo glad when the disco lease of the Piedra Lisa was up and it moved across the IB to the „Country“ (Club). There were beer corpses, overturned trash containers, and discarded plastic cups in the streets for blocks.

Ja ja Doug, Uruguay is a „messi“ country. Latino mentality !!
But much much more worse in Central America.
Like Panama – they don’t even have a regular trash service there.
If they mow along the highways from time to time, it looks like a „tip“ there.
Comparing to that – Uruguay is very clean and tidy !
