Many people live such a boring life, because they have nothing. No friends, no interests, no hobby’s . I am Mike and I think sometimes, I have to many interests or hobbies, like collecting, like history, travel, searching for new information, backgrounds or knowledge and much much more. And – time is melting away.
What ever your hobby or interest or lifestyle is, it’s up to you to enjoy yourself.
I also love good food and good wines . My motto: Life is too short for a bad meal or a bad wine. So – let’s be thankful that we are healthy enough to enjoy our life, and having just so much in our purse, that we can afford a decent lifestyle.
If you are on your own, or with a family, enjoy your life. Friends are everywhere, just be a friend yourself.
During the years I lived in 9 different countries and traveled dozens of others. Everywhere I was interested in the country itself, their people, their history etc. Living now in Uruguay means automatically having main emphasis for Uruguay.
Where ever you are in the world, „home“ is in yourself. Your satisfaction with your own life is „your home“.
Now, turning 70, being an old goat, I like to share all this with others, if they are interested. If not – fine with me too. So different as we human beings are, so different are our interests. I don’t expect that everyone likes everything I post, but may be there is something you will enjoy.

All this is the reason to start the adventure of this blog. Just to share with you what I like. I have no intention to be perfect. No perfection with all the contents nor perfection with the language. English is not my native language, but I think the majority of people understand and read English, that’s why I will try my best. Have some fun, enjoy my posts and – most important – enjoy your own life. It’s the only one you have !!!
