Weihnachten, Zeit der Reflexion,
von Frieden und Versoehnung.
Weihnachten, Zeit der Lichter
und Zeit für die Liebe.
Weihnachten, Zeit der Solidaritaet.
Teile Deinen Tisch mit Deiner Familie
und, besser, mit denen die hungrig sind,
mit denen, die eine bruederliche
Umarmung brauchen.
Oeffne Dein Herz Deinem Naechsten,
Pflanze Hoffnung in jenem,
dem alles verloren gegangen ist.
Schreibe das Gedicht von Frieden und Liebe
und breche mit der Sprache des Krieges.
Begleite dein Herz hin zu meinem, zu ihrem,
zu dem Deines Nachbarn, den Du kennst
und demjenigen, den Du nicht kennst.
Lasst uns die Sprache erheben, reden
von Respekt und Toleranz.
Gemeinsam, zusammen als Brueder,
lass uns froehliche Weihnachten feiern
und mit Begeisterung
das Neue Jahr empfangen.

escribe el poema de la paz y del amor
y rompe el discurso de la guerra,
une tu corazón al mío, al de ella,
al de tu vecino, al que conoces
y al que no conoces,
al que piensa diferente a ti,
levantemos el lenguaje
del respeto y la tolerancia
y juntos, como hermanos,
celebremos la Navidad
y recibamos con ilusión
El Nuevo Año.
